This piece was written as one of seven blessings for the wedding of my close friend and collaborator, Eliza Bagg, to her husband James. I knew that when she was a kid, Eliza and her father had spent many hours playing Mozart duets. So I took a bit of the tune from K. 423 and used that as a starting point for this little prelude.

It was first performed by Eliza and her father Jonathan Bagg at her wedding, and later recorded by Eliza and Nadia Sirota at Better Company Studios in Brooklyn.

It is arranged in this iteration for violin and harp, for the occasion of Madeline Ludwig-Leone and Tommy Bazarian' s wedding.
