Note:

This piece premiered at New York City Ballet's 2015 Gala, with choreography by Troy Schumacher. It's the fourth piece I made with Troy, and represents years of conversations and collaborations across our separate mediums. Common Ground was meant to be a physicalization of this normally invisible process, creating a space where individual people could coalesce into a community around a shared (danced) conversation.
