This piece was written as one of seven blessings for the wedding of my close friend and collaborator, Eliza Bagg, to her husband James. I knew that when she was a kid, Eliza and her father had spent many hours playing Mozart duets. So I took a bit of the tune from K. 423 and used that as a starting point for this little prelude.

The piece was later arranged for solo harp and premiered by Chelsea Lane at ArtPrize 2025 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
